As you Year 8’s need to do some of your own research on the Amazon, I thought I might post some useful weblinks to help. It is always essential to use the internet very carefully. It is a magnificant resource… when you use it with a little thought. First, try to make your searches as specific and focused as you can - I would suggest using google advanced search or a ‘meta-searcher’, like Dogpile. Secondly, look carefully at the results: filter out the ones that do not sound relevant. Read the websites that seem to be appropriate for your task and level of understanding. If they are relevant and you understand the information they contain, bookmark them.
